Audio Guided Breathwork Journey
Breathe from the comfort of your home...

You may practice on your own, with a loved one, or a small group. The audio sessions weave together guided breath - sound - movement, affirmations, and music.

Please Note:
It is recommended that you have been guided by Leah or another breathwork practitioner in 1:1 sessions, group journeys or workshops/trainings prior to working with these audio guided journeys. Breathwork can ignite powerful energies and draw past experiences and emotions to the surface to be neutralized and integrated. An ability to self-regulate and navigate your own psychosomatic & energetic terrain is necessary.

NEW TO BREATHWORK?
PLEASE READ BEFORE BEGINNING:
Conscious, connected breathwork is a powerful circular breathing technique that can release physical tension, renew clarity of mind, draw forth emotions from the past to be resolved, inspirit the senses and subtle sensations, and open channels of blocked energy. Please take some time to read through my website and learn more about this practice before you begin. Learn more here!

To prepare you will need:
A safe, private space where you will not be interrupted

A comfortable surface to lie upon such as bed, a mattress, or a mat/pad on the ground
To create a sacred space. You may wish to light a candle, collect some meaningful items, cleanse your space with sage, or place a bouquet of flowers nearby.
To gather a blanket (your temperature may fluctuate), pillows (for under your knees or to squeeze for comfort or to use for emotional release), and possibly a journal and pen to note your experiences and insights afterwards
To Initiate the Journey:

Lie on your back with your hands open at your side, palms up and legs uncrossed (you may sit if that is more comfortable for you)

Head is fairly flat (it is recommended to use a flat pillow or no pillow) to allow your throat to be open

You may close your eyes to go deeper within, and you can always open your eyes to orient

Bring your attention to your heart and set an intention for your journey. Let your intention be simple, heart-centered, and present-tense, positively-oriented

As You Begin to Breathe:

Be aware of what arising in each moment. This can include physical sensations, emotions, thoughts, insights, visions, laughter, tears, a sense of connection with yourself or others, guidance, a somatic or emotional release, greater aliveness and clarity of purpose or next steps...Welcome it all with curiosity.
If tension arises, inhale and squeeze the part of your body that is tense, exhale and release.
If you feel bored, self-critical, or confused like "nothing is happening", try identifying what expectations you have brought into the session and how you may free yourself from them.
If at any time you feel that it is too much, soften the inhale and exhale and focus on simply allowing (rather than doing) the breathing. You can also open your eyes, slow down or return to your natural breath, and orient to your space.
At the end, you will be guided to return to your natural breath for a gentle integration period. Then you will be invited to turn onto one side to rest. I highly suggest you take more time for rest in silence than what I offer you in this journey to integrate.

Enjoy your journey!

Warmly,
Leah
